On June 20th, NextFlex hosted a group of North San Jose manufacturers for a networking event and roundtable discussion organized by Manufacture: San Jose. The event was free for manufacturing business owners located in San Jose.
Representatives from the City of San Jose attended and provided valuable insight into the city’s position on manufacturing as well as listened to a roundtable discussion where participants expounded on the benefits and challenges of being a manufacturer in the city. Topics included the price of real estate and utilities in San Jose, the access to suppliers, the quality of employee candidates, and beyond.
Participants also received a window tour of NextFlex’s Technology Hub and were able to learn about and view some of the innovative technologies being manufactured in the facility.
Attendees had the opportunity to network before and after the roundtable discussion which gave them ample time to form critical business connections with other organizations. NextFlex hopes to host other productive discussions in the future with the help of partners like Manufacture: San Jose.
