Inviting Small- and Medium-sized Manufacturers to Apply FHE Technology in Healthcare
By Gregg Profozich, CMTC Embedded Staff Project Manager for Staff Embedded at NextFlex
Flexible hybrid electronics (FHE) combine new and unique materials that are part of our everyday lives in conjunction with the power of silicon ICs to create conformable and stretchable smart products. FHE is ushering in an era of “electronics on everything” and advancing the efficiency of our world.
NextFlex will host a “Lunch and Learn” program on Friday, April 27, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm that will provide insight into how small and medium manufacturers in the healthcare arena can learn to apply flexible hybrid electronics technology to work in reducing form factor size, weight, and introducing conformability and flexibility into medical device products.
This Lunch and Learn program is organized by CMTC, the Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center for California. CMTC has a full-time staff in residence at NextFlex tasked with raising awareness of FHE technologies among small and medium-sized manufacturers and assisting them with pathways to adoption.
