The Results are In, and We Heard You
Earlier this summer, we asked NextFlex members to participate in a satisfaction survey to help us understand how members perceive the value of their membership and to learn how we can improve. We were extremely pleased to have accomplished these goals, and I thank the members who responded to our survey, which was the first time we’d done this type of outreach. There were representative responses across the membership, including industry and academia and while most of the input was positive, we received helpful suggestions on how we can enhance the value of membership.
Overall, 89% of survey participants agreed or strongly agreed that NextFlex provides value for their membership. And rated even higher were the aspects of NextFlex’s membership as it relates to providing valuable insight and access to information. On these attributes, 92% agreed that their NextFlex membership provided them with access to both information and insights that they might not otherwise have. Finally, there was overwhelming agreement that membership in NextFlex has had a positive impact on participants’ organizations (74% agreed or strongly agreed).
In terms of ranking the various cited Member benefits, Networking Opportunities and Workshops and Events were rated as the first and second most popular Member benefits, respectively. Other Member benefits, while not as highly ranked, were also deemed valuable across the membership, including Project Funding, Quarterly Project Update Webinars, Workforce Development activities, and access to the Technology Hub.
The inputs we received were extremely helpful to us as we embark on the next phase of our journey, and we look forward to your continued guidance in helping us to define our priorities based upon what’s important to our members.
